Return & Exchange Policy – Farah Shears

We want you to love your purchase! Please review our policy below so we can help you have the best experience possible.

General Policy

Our return policy is valid for 14 calendar days from the date of purchase.

  • If you change your mind and wish to cancel your order, you must do so within 24 hours of placing it, before the order has been packed for shipping.
     
  • Cancellations within this window will be refunded minus PayPal processing fees.
     
  • After 24 hours or once your order has been packed, the purchase is final.
     

Unfortunately, if more than 14 days have passed since your purchase, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange. However, please contact us—we’ll do our best to help make it right. ❤️

Exchange Eligibility

To qualify for an exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • The product is defective or arrived damaged (not due to misuse).
     
  • The item must be returned in its original packaging, including shears, inserts, and case (if applicable).
     
  • The item must be in new and unused condition—clean, with no hair or visible signs of use.
     
  • Items damaged from accidents, drops, or misuse are not eligible for exchange.
     

⚠️ Curved Chunkers: If chunkers are catching or not performing as expected, they may need to be mailed to our professional sharpener for inspection. Most issues with curved chunkers are due to improper grip or use.
We hand-test every shear before shipping to ensure they are in perfect working condition.
If our sharpener determines there is a manufacturer defect, we’ll send you a brand new pair.
 

All returns are inspected by our Master Sharpener. If the returned item does not meet the criteria above, we reserve the right to deny the exchange and consider the purchase final.

Sale & Clearance Items

  • Only regular-priced items are eligible for return or exchange.
     
  • Items purchased during sales, flash sales, or using discount codes (including ambassador codes) are non-refundable unless defective.
     
  • Items bought with Ambassador Codes are not eligible for refunds, as those proceeds go directly to that groomer.
     

Shipping Instructions

  • Contact us first before sending anything back.
     
  • Returns should be mailed to:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
     
  • We will cover the shipping cost of sending out the exchange item.
     
  • For sharpening services, please refer to the address listed on our Sharpening Page.
     

Please ensure all items are carefully packaged to avoid damage during transit. If a product arrives damaged or appears used beyond reasonable inspection, we may deny the return or exchange.
 

Restocking Fee

  • All exchanges or refunds (except for manufacturer defects) are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
     
  • Items returned due to manufacturer defect will not incur this fee.
