Sharpening Shears & Blade Maintenance

Shear Sharpening

For sharpening and maintenance of your shears and blades please call 229 3262070 before shipping as she will be moving locations

 l

Please wrap your shears in bubble wrap (make sure there is no movement in the box to protect your tools) and add a note with your name, number and phone number so that our sharpener can collect payment. Please allow 5 business days total to sharpen and get your tools back out to you. You are responsible for shipping your items.

Each shear is $15.00 for bevel and $20 for convex edge plus shipping unless under warranty that is covered by Farah Shears.

Blade Sharpening

Please wrap all blades in bubble wrap secure and tight, include a note in your shipment with your information and phone number so that they can bill you and get your blades back out to you.

You are responsible for the blade sharpening and the shipping costs, so please include a note of your contact information with your shipment.

How Often Should You Sharpen Your Shears?

Every 2 to 4 months. Cleaning and proper Maintenace will extend your tool's life between sharpening's. Remember: dirty or a matted coat will dull your shears rapidly.  You can clean your shears with rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and cotton cloth. Remember to add some shear oil in your ride area of your shear.

Hope this helps.
